Sci-Tech invites the community to its first, ever, Super Science Sale on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The Super Science Sale is an opportunity for budding scientists, science enthusiasts, professional scientists, teachers, and even those with just an idle curiosity, to purchase a wide variety of science and technology related items at discounted rates.
With prices starting at just 50 cents, the Super Science Sale has something for every interest – science toys, kits, books, minerals, puzzles, desk ornaments, laboratory equipment, and much more. The Super Science Sale will even include pounds of lego blocks, demonstration equipment, and former Sci-Tech exhibits.
The Super Science Sale will be held in the WWNY TV-7 parking lot, right beside the Sci-Tech building at 154 Stone Street in downtown Watertown, from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, October 3, rain or shine.
Proceeds from the Super Science Sale will help support Sci-Tech as it continues to repair the massive damage that has temporarily closed its building. While the museum building is closed, Sci-Tech continues a full program of public and classroom activities around the region, such as its public telescopic astronomy observing nights, and interactive public displays at fairs and festivals.
In addition, many of Sci-Tech’s hands-on exhibits have been temporarily moved to Zoo-NY in Thompson Park, where they are on display during regular Zoo hours.
