Free Observational Astronomy Night

Sci-Tech invites the public to a free telescopic astronomy event on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 7:30pm. Featured at this observing session will be the planet Saturn with its rings. This night is also the assumed peak of the Orionid meteor shower, which is known for long meteor trails and its occasional fireballs.

Sci-Tech staff will be on hand to help viewers observe telescopic images, and guide viewers around the sky.

The even will be held in Watertown’s Thompson Park, on West Tower Drive, across from the 10th Mountain Division Monument.

Observers should plan to dress warmly.

In the event of overcast skies, the astronomy night will be canceled.
